One of the Most overlooked and underappreciated aspects of healthy living, Enzymes are essential for our bodies optimal function. While its true our body is able to produce its own enzymes, this process requires a lot of extra energy! This usually leads to that "I'm ready for a nap" feeling we get after we eat.

But what exactly are Enzymes? According to the National Human Genome Research Institute, Enzymes are biological catalysts that speed up the rate of a specific chemical reaction in a cell. Every day millions of reactions are taking place in our body and enzymes are right there sparking the change.
